Which one?
Now we've decided on a first name, we just need to figure out which middle name we want to use.
Our son's first name will be Paul, honoring my father. I would like the middle name to have a special meaning as well. These are our options:Paul Warren. Warren would be honoring my uncle. He was very important to me.Paul Richard Warren. This would be honoring both my uncles. Paul Conrad. Conrad's a longer variant of my husband's name. Mommy to Myrtle Nola (22-10-2012) and baby due 25-05-2015

I think it's decided ;-) Just hoping that I won't change my mind again.

If Richard honours two uncles and Warren just one, then go for Richard. Your son will get his father's ln as a matter of course, so the name link will be there.

Paul is a very handsome name and the strong and distinguished Conrad sets it off nicely. Great combo.

Paul Conrad is my fave combo. I think it flows the best and it's nice if the combo is somewhat after your DH.

Paul Conrad.Conrad gives it that extra punch. I think it goes best with Myrtle Nola, as well.My second choice is Paul Richard Warren.

Paul Conrad is really nice, Paul Richard by itself is also nice, Warren is not a favourite of mine. Though I must say that Myrtle and Paul don't really seem to match well as siblings.

Paul is a fine name and I think any of these combos would be nice. My favorite is Paul Conrad, quite handsome and lovely that it honors people from both sides of your son's family. Flow-wise, I like Paul Richard Warren just a tad bit more than Paul Warren on its own but, again, all are nice choices. :)

I love Paul! Paul is a gentleman, soft and polite and yet strong and handsome. I like the combo Paul Conrad the best. Both because it honours your husband and because it's a great combo. My second choice would be Paul Richard Warren. It has a really good flow and I like that you honour both your uncles.
I'm not really a fan of Paul Warren.

Paul ConradThat's my favorite.
The others are too old-fashioned.

I think Paul Conrad sounds best of the three.

Since your daughter only has one middle name, that's what I would to with your son's name as well. I personally wouldn't want to have more/less middle names than my sibling. Paul Warren sounds the best. And I don't really think it's honoring unless you use the exact name as the person you want to honor - so in my eyes Conrad isn't really honoring if it's just a longer variant of your husband's name.Good luck :)

No, strictly speaking it isn't "honoring", just referring to my husband. We don't want to use my husband's name as it is, because he thinks it would be too pretentious ;-)
