Your other pets has shorts names, so I would go with Nyx or Klio, maybe Niobe. My favorite of the bunch is Kalliope, but my guess is that it would become "Kallie", which isn't as nice. I would probably choose Klio.

Absolutely Klio. It fits the theme and is also four letters (I like symmetry in names).

It's my general favorite from your list, but I also think it sounds/feels best with your current pet names. I notice each of your current pets has a four-letter name; Klio certainly fits that pattern. Lyra would as well, but it just doesn't feel canine to me; feline, maybe.

I like Klio best.

Argh, my mother had a kitty called Loki when she was young. He was pure evil according to her stories. I hope your Loki is a lot sweeter :)

I don't like Freya or Kalliope. Psyche, if called, in a park for example, might sound like 'Psycho'.

Nyx and Klio (I prefer Cleo) are cute but seem far more like cat names in my opinion. Nyx would be a wonderful name if you ever get another cat!

Thalia and Niobe are pretty but a little too fancy, maybe? Would they get too much on a daily basis? Niobe could have Nia or Obi as nicknames, and Thalia could have Tally, Tilly or Lia, which might make them less fussy for regular use. I like them, but they might get tiresome.

Lyra is my top pick! I think it's a great name! Xanthe is a little frillier but it's a lovely name and could work on a pet, so it's my second pick from your list. Lyra and Xanthe also both go with the names of your current pets - a Greek feel to go with Zeus and Ares and Lyra also shares an L with Loki and Xanthe shares an ending e/i sound.
