In France this name is pronounced my-AY-va. I think it's beautiful! I like Maeva Estelle, Maeva Coralie and Maeva Lily.

Yeah, I know it's not actually pronounced MAY-və. I just think most people would pronounce it that way in English because of it's spelling and similarity to Maeve. Thanks!

I really like Maeva, and it's lovely with Althea.Maeva Lilac, Maeva Juniper, and Maeva Winter are all gorgeous, but a bit heavy on the quirk factor. I'd probably go with something a bit more classic in the middle. Maeva Charlotte strikes the perfect balance IMO. I also like Maeva Isabel, Maeva Coralie, Maeva Lily, and Maeva Estelle.

I don't really think of Lilac, Juniper, or Winter as quirky with Maeva but I can see your point. It's a good thing I like that in a name!Thank you.

Maeva Lily
Maeva HarrietI think Althea & Maeva work as sisters, but as a pair I think Maeva is the prettier, more interesting name.

Ya' know, I hadn't thought of the names as clunky but since you pointed it out they really are. I'm also loving that Maeva Lilac is getting a positive response. I hesitated to include it. Thanks!

Maeva is a nice name if pronounced correctly. In French, it is pronounced Mah-eh-vah. Sometimes it is spelled Maéva or Maëva, to clarify the correct pronunciation. If you want, you can have a listen here:

From your options I quite like:Maeva Estelle
Maeva Coralie
Maeva Lily

I know it isn't pronounced MAY-və in French but in English most people would pronounce it that way because of its spelling and similarity to Maeve. That being said I do like the French pronunciation and would probably end up using it if I were ever to use Maeva. Thanks!

I quite like Maeva, probably because I love Maeve. I still prefer Maeve, mainly because I have so many girls' names ending in a already. Althea and Maeva are beautiful together!I love these combos:
Maeva Lilac
Maeva Juniper
Maeva Charlotte
Maeva Isobel
Maeva WinterMaeva Lilac is definitely my favourite. Maybe you'd like Maeva Imogen? (Maeve Imogen Elspeth is my Maeve combo.)

If I were to have two girls, Maeva and Althea would absolutely be their names. I've been debating on what a good sibling name for Althea would be and I think I hit on it pretty well with Maeva.Maeva Lilac is one of my favorites from the group as well. Your suggestion of Maeva Imogen is nice but doesn't quite sound right to me. Maeva Elspeth on the other hand would be fantastic. Thanks!
