Anyone needs help with combos?
I think we haven’t done this in a while, so I thought I’d make a post.
So, post 4 names (2 male and 2 female) in the subject line and people will respond with combos for those names (list any specific requirements in the message). In return you need to post suggestions for others.

Gwendolyn, Katarina, Peter, RobinDoes anyone have middle name suggestions for Gwendolyn, Katarina, Peter and a male Robin? Robin and Peter are fairly common, so do you think middle names that have a bit of flair or are unusual would be best?

Finnian, Oscar, Imogen, and GemmaMy taste in names is pretty random, so go crazy. Finnian, Oscar, and Imogen are new favorites. Gemma is a top choice for me, but my combos are getting dry. One or two middle names, whichever you prefer.

I like these! I've always had a soft spot for Rhiannon. It sounds lovely with Gemma. :)

Helena, Katharine, George, JackI'd like middle name suggestions for Helena, Jack and George, and first name or middle name suggestions for Katharine. One or two middle names is fine. Thanks in advance! :)

Georgiana, Blair (f), Caroline, and Jude. Please use Georgiana, Caroline, and Jude as first names.
Blair (f) as either first or middle name.
Use only one middle name in combos.
Note: We have only ever considered Jude as 'Benjamin Jude'. We know we'll call him Jude but I can't seem to convince SO to use it as a first name! And apparently Jude Benjamin is out per SO.

I'm about to head out for dinner, so I'll edit this with combos later on, but wanted to ask a few questions:Are you using Blair as a male or female name? And also, why is your husband ok with calling your child Jude but not using it as a fn? Seems silly lol Also, while Benjamin Jude is a gorg combo, the initial are unfortunate! She isn't opposed to Jude as a first name, she just doesn't like any middle names we've thought of. I guess we are just looking for the "right" one. The initials are bad but not enough to deter us. I've know a few people that actually go by BJ though. Dont like that. Blair as a female name. Sorry!

ahhh, ok! Well it's a good thing this thread came up; maybe ya'll will find something she likes :)

Leon and Remy / Eseld and LyraI don't mind multiple middle names, and actually kinda like them, especially for shorter names. My taste is pretty open.

Not bad! I like Leon Jeremiah, Remy Felix, Eseld Ava Charlotte, and Lyra Zoe Emmeline. Thank you!

These are nice. I especially like Leon Graham.

I thought about it as a nickname for Remiel, but I like it mostly as a name on it's own. I'm open to more unusual names but Remigius and Remigis are too out there for me and I just plain don't like Remington lolI like:Remy Declan

Petra Mathilde
Petra ChrysantheMelisande Rowena
Melisande Olympia - interesting combo!Roland Hugo
Roland Emmanuel
Roland August - I love Roland August a lot!Finn Abraham is such an interesting combo and I like both names! Nice!

Ooooh, I love Mélissaire Beatriz!I like both Roland Alexander and Finn Alexander, but Alexander has always struck me as a 'safe choice', the kind of name that I like enough in practice but in theory always feels a bit too practical. They're nice combos, though! Thanks for the suggestions, especially the Mélissaire one! :)

Thanks for your response!
I like:
Petra Beatrice - I think the P/B combo could be too much, but I like both names
Petra Caroline - I love Caroline, and it's honouring! Yay!
Petra Josephine
Petra Magdalene - or Petra Madeleine?
Petra Theodora - Theodora is very pretty, but too much 't' sound? Maybe?Mélisande Hermione - super pretty!
Mélissaire Pelagia - it might not totally be my style, I'm not sure yet - but it's def. interesting.Roland Augustine - very dignified!
Roland Emmanuel - I kind of rather like this one.
Roland Vladislav - I couldn't ever use this, but it's fun and full of character and made me giggle/smile a bit. It would be a wonderful name for a character,Idris Vincente - would the safer Idris Vincent be okay?Finn Mordecai is kind of a mix of fun and moodily traditional. I like it!Thanks for your help! :)

Wow, there are so many combos here! Thank you so much!I like:
Petra Calanthe - I find Calanthe fascinating but never found a combo that worked with it. I like it with Petra!
Petra Camille - I love Camille, but it is my go to filler middle name, so I really shouldn't stick it in this list! I do like Petra Camille a lot, so...yeah...
Petra Laurel
Petra Laurence - I'm starting to see Laurence on a girl as pretty interesting and quite nice(Ha! Another Petra-fan! I'm glad that there's someone else out there who loves this underappreciated jewel of a name. The other names I listed weren't my favourites, but Petra definitely is... if only I didn't struggle finding combos for it)Micaiah isn't my style and I don't think I could ever pull it off in real life... but damn that's an intriguing looking name!Anyway, I like:
Mélissaire Miranda (in a lilty kinda way)
Mélissaire Genevieve and Mélisande Genevieve
Mélisande Ursula and Mélisande Ursa - I adore Ursula, so this is awesome
Mélissaire Ofelia and Mélisande Ofelia - could Ophelia work just as well?
Mélissaire Olwen and Mélisande Olwen

Thank you!I love some of the Petra combos:
Petra Vivienne
Petra Isabelle ~ I'd prefer Petra Isabel or Petra Isobel, but that's just my mood at the moment. Petra Isabelle is nice too.
Petra Marguerite
Petra Sibylline
Petra Marceline All great!I especially love Petra Sibylline and Petra Marceline, since I hardly ever pair those names with anything, even as middle names and they make some good combos.I also love:
Mélisande Beatrix
Mélisande Inés
Mélisande LenoreEspecially Mélisande Inés! I have a rather intense love of Ines, but I feel like it's a little difficult to pull off. I'm not much of a Naomi fan, but it's a fine name - and I actually like Mélisande Noemi! For the boys...
I like Roland Alastair, Roland Samuel and Roland Tobias. Roland Samuel has flicked through my mind before, but is it too heavy on the -l and is Samuel too filler-ish? I like it a good deal, though.
Roland Frederick is pretty cool too. I can't use Frederick, if I were to use this in real life, since it's already been claimed by a cousin, but it's got a nice, sensible feel to it.

Your suggested combos for Thaddeus and Andreas are great. Andreas Muir especially stands out. Betony used to be a love of mine, I like it with Zelda. Winterberry is different, I've never heard of it before reminds me of a candle or lotion. lol Thanks!

I always use Sophia Lark as a double middle name, I can't believe I didn't think of Zelda Lark.Thaddeus Aspen - I'd have never thought to use Aspen for a boy. It's really sweet. It's a bit hissy but I really like it.Andreas Wolfe - I adore this. It's going on my list right now. Thanks!

Maeva PenelopeZelda Rune - Very nerdy but cute. I like it.
Zelda Romilly
Zelda Pearl
Zelda CharlotteThaddeus Henry
Thaddeus Oren - Love it.
Thaddeus Jethro - When I was 19 my best friend and I were driving in the middle of the night with her daughter and her car broke down on an old mountain road. It was horrible. Luckily a man named Jethro and his friend came by and helped us and stayed with us until her parents picked us up. I have had a soft spot for this name since.
