baby girl suggestions - scottish + russian
Seeking first name for an american baby girl with a scottish/irish papa and a russian mama. Would be nice if the name plays well in both languages and is uncommon in both. We like the idea of using a masculine name. Surname is FEARGHAS and the middle name will be the mama's russian surname.

Well, according to BtN - David is the only name that is both Russian and Scottish (you could get away with Davida too). So, here are some suggestions that lean towards Scottish/Irish or Russian, and I focused mostly on unisex names... since many of those could fit your tastes for a male name on a girl:
Aran
Ennis
Finley
Nika
Sasha
Tierney
Shura
Quinn
Petya
Kelly
Keelan
Casey
Brogan
VaskaI personally like Vaska or Brogan for you. Another suggestion would be Vanya - which is a Russian male name... but fits all teh characteristics of a female name in most English-speaking cultures.

Iona!Iona is the perfect name in this situation. It's Scottish and Russian. Even better though is that you like the idea of a masculine name and Iona is a boy's name in Russia. The only issue would be deciding which pronunciation to use.

I don't know many Russian names but for Scottish names what about Ailsa, Elise, Isobel, Catriona, Maisie, Flora, Skye, Finella, Iona, Isla, Moira, Lena, Lorna, Murren, Bonnie, Rhona, Shona?http://www.behindthename.com/pnl/149886
