Re: What is the weirdest name you have heard?
in reply to a message by KJ
The two names that always pop in my head when this question is asked are really not all that crazy, but I find them weird... 1. Harlet. I understand that the sound is pretty and even the spelling catches your eye. But the name is said just like "harlot" and I find that totally inappropriate as a moniker. I just cannot support such a name on a child. 2. Klimberly. This is my niece via my husband Julius. No idea why they decided to put the extra "L" in there... but there it is. They call her Klim or YingYin (her Chinese name). ______________________________________________

As to Harlet...that's why Harlow is a guilty pleasure for me. Sounds like a French pronunciation of harlot, honestly.

Hahaha. Oh, that is great. I had never thought of that. I actually like Harlow... but my last name is Payot, so.... name ruined. :)
