I'm sure that in 1985 plutonium is available in every corner drug store, but in 1955 it's a little hard to come by!http://www.behindthename.com/pnl/106474

It's too 60s cutie pie for me. Besides, I think it should only be a nickname for Marcia, and I don't like Marcia.

Marcie. I like it. I remember liking it as a kid watching the Peanuts. As an adult it feels slightly nicknamish to me, but not overly so.Marcie Ramona is just really strong to me.
Marcie Emmeline is very feminine, oldfashioned.I love Marcie Blythe, as well.In general, not a name I'd use myself, but I'd much rather hear a child named Marcie than a lot of overused names (Lily, etc.)

I'm neutral, sound-wise, and visually, would prefer the Marcy spelling. There's nothing wrong with it, no negative associations, but I'm not personally drawn to it. Of your combos, I best like Marcie Primrose and Marcie Violet for feel and flow and because they provide a strong image/association; I don't really get anything specific from Marcie alone.

I quite like Marcie. It's cute. Of your combos I like: Marcie Emmeline, Marcie Isobel, Marcie Primrose, and Marcie Violet.

Hmm, well it's definitely out of style currently, but that can be a plus! I prefer the spelling Marcy and think that's what most people would write if they just heard the name. And I think your combos are great! I'd go with Marcie Ramona or Marcie Violet. They both have great energy.

I think it is cute, too cute to be taken seriously on an adult. It is a very sweet old fashioned Nickname though. I love Marcella and Marceline which it could easily be a nicname for.
