Greta - lovely!
Allegra - nice middle but the product ruins it as a first for me
Bera - does the first syllable rhyme with "bare"? Nothing here appealing for my ear to grab, I'm afraid
Cecile - perfectly decent name but don't care for sound or meaning
Chantrea - lovely meaning but not loving the sound
Corinna - nice, sweetRowinna - definitely this spelling for the pron. you want (which I like much better, btw); at least those English-speakers who learned to read by phonetic rules will know the double consonant makes the preceding vowel shortMaryvonne - does "Mar" rhyme with "far"?; pretty but I'm wanting it to be MarianneMasha - for me, this does not appeal at all, sound-wise, as something to call a person you like/love

Reed - prefer Reid personally, but Reed brings pleasant nature imagery
Romy - don't think it's a terrible choice, but never have cared for it
Florine - enjoy most "Flor" names, but my brain logs this one as sister to Chlorine
Wendy - I've long loved it and I do think it can suit a grown up just fine
Zareen - doesn't particularly appeal to me but it's easy to say/spell/understand
Vanya - dislike this Jesse - a handsome and egregiously-underrated name, in my opinion
Gordon - handsome, solid
Ansel - love it; handsome and sweet
"EJ" - personally, wouldn't give initials as a name but these two sound okay
Azel - does the pron. rhyme with Hazel? or Basil? - not grabbing me
Bence - guessing this rhymes with "hence"; nothing grabs my ear
Elior - handsomeHankin - when I pron. "Han" like Han Solo, I get "honkin'"; when I rhyme "Han" with "man", handkerchiefs come to mind

Ogden - sound is okay; perceive this as a place name
Cager - "one who cages" or, worse, "cadges" is what I get from this
Zephyr - handsome; love it

Greta : I love Greta! It is sweet, interesting, a tad bit of history, and a bit vintage.
Allegra: I also love Allegra. Great, fresh sound. Fantastic meaning.
Bera: Seems like two syllables thrown together. I know a lot of names do, but I don't even find it attractive.
Cecile: Like. I can never decide if I like Cecilia, Cecily, or Cecile best. I like them all.
Chantrea: Not a huge fan.
Corinna: I do love his. Unusual, but pretty.
Rowinna / Rowina / Rowena (which do you like as "ro-IN-uh" -primarily, NOT a hard E"): The second I think.
Fauna: Flora works better. ;)
Maryvonne: Seems kind of squished together (Mary + Yvonne), doesn't make a nice sound.
Masha: I want to like it since I like Sasha... but nah, makes me think of mashing things.
Reed: I like it for a boy.
Romy: I like it for a boy.
Florine: Prefere Florence. This makes me think of fluoride & chlorine.
Wendy: I like it as a nickname only.
Zareen: Not my style.
Vanya: NMS. Sorry.Jesse: I like it. Seems Western, in a way.
Gordon: I'd like to meet a Gordon.
Ansel: I don't know why, but this name seems incredibly handsome to me.
"EJ": Short for...?
Azel: Seems incomplete.
Bence: Sounds like bounce and Benz, and made up.
Elior: I like it.
Hankin: Hank, fine... I don't understand the extra syllable.
Ogden: Ogden's Firewhiskey?
Cager: Cager?
Zephyr: I like the imagery here.

Greta - I've never been keen on using diminutives as a person's given name; e.g. naming a daughter Kate instead of Katherine (what if she grows up preferring "Kat" and doesn't like Kate? It would be difficult for her to officially "switch.") That's said, it's one of the better pet names for Margaret, but I've never been a fan of that name in general.Allegra - I would love it, if it weren't for the allergy medicine.Bera - Reminds me too much of bears.Cecile - I much prefer Cecily. It's still a rather princess-y name, but not nearly as... *whiny* as Cecile.Chantrea - I have no idea how it's pronounced in Khmer, but the pronunciation in my head is influenced by Chantal, so I read it as shan-tray-uh. While I find that sound pretty... if you head over to the comments on the name Linnaea / Linnea, you'll see the kind of comments this name could get behind your back.Corinna - I love it! It's in my personal favorites.Rowinna / Rowina / Rowena (which do you like as "ro-IN-uh" primarily, NOT a hard E") - For the pronunciation you seek (which I, too, prefer to ro-WEE-nuh), I think only Rowinna is really suggestive of it, since its spelling mirrors Corinna. I like it.Fauna - I've tried to like this name, but it just comes across as childlike.Maryvonne - I already don't really like "combination" names, but this one, imo, is kind of ridiculous.Masha - Doesn't feel like a real name to me. More like a little kid's nickname.

Greta - is constantly on and off my short list. But I don't really care for Margaret and Greta has never seemed like that intuitive as a nn to me anyhow. Wdyt of Coretta? I actually loved that first but feel like Greta is roomier. Bera - what's wrong with bears?Chantrea - I say it like "shaun-TRAY-uh" and just love the meaning. Not everyone will like every name so "behind the back" stuff doesn't bother meWendy - interesting that you think this works on its own but Greta and Romy don't. Greta feels much more complete and "adult" to me. Vanya - I know its a dude name but just saw it on a girl on the show "child genius" (or "genius child" ...whatever) and thought it sounded nice. I'm one who like Vaughn on a girl so am always on the lookout for something similar and if not female, at least sort of more feminine sounding. EJ - would be a nickname :) I love a lot of "E" names for boys and the idea of honoring my FIL John. E______ John might become "EJ" every once in awhile. Just curious as to what people thought about those initialsHankin - I found while browsing names related to John- Which it is, believe it or not. Having never been a fan of Hank this one actually changed my mind. Cager - came from Cager Lee, a man featured in the movie Selma. I liked its sort of "antiquated occupation name" feel- like Booker - words turned name before there was a trend to direct it.
Thanks for the feedback!
