Re: Opinions on an all girl sibset
I'll admit, I like a lot of flower names. However, I've never liked Daisy. I just can't get the image out of my head of a dairy cow with a flower hat on her head. Sorry, but... I can't. I don't like Primrose, either, but not for any silly reasons like dairy cows - I just don't like the "prim" part. That all said, Megan doesn't really fit with the other first names, but I like the name by itself. While I'm more partial to the spelling Meghan (I know the 'h' seems extra to a lot of people, but it makes the name look more complete to me), I prefer both spellings to the name Margaret. I like the nickname Meg, as well. I'm surprised, with the theme the sisters' names have, that her "affectionate" nickname isn't Nutmeg.I do like Lydia and Sophia, but I don't understand why Eleanore has an 'e' at the end. Eleanor is not only the most common spelling, but it would've looked better with Violet. However, I wonder if Elinor Violet doesn't actually look the best...
Please rate my personal short name lists (the latter includes combos):
