Lucina

This name has been one of my favorites since I played Fire Emblem: Awakening (Lucina is the name of one of the main characters). I haven't seen this name nearly as much as Lucy, Lucia, or even Luciana - it sounds like a fresh alternative.WDYT? How would you pronounce it?

Lucina is the character I usually play in Super Smash Bros Wii U. I like her name a lot. I pronounce it loo-SEE-nah, though I've been playing around with loo-KEE-nah as well. I'd spell that last pronunciation differently though, maybe Lukina? Sounds like an elaboration of Luka.

I love Lucina! It's sleek and serpentine without being slimy or unctuous. I pronounce it "loo-SEE-na."

In English, looSEEna. It is pretty, though I prefer and would use Lucy.Lucina was the ancient Roman goddess of childbirth, the one who helped the baby to see the light. Which is a very positive job for a goddess!

I'd say loo-SEE-nah and like it, though I prefer Lucia (loo-SEE-ah). I think it's usable and pretty.

I like it. I'd never name a kid that, but I like it in theory. I'd pronounce it Loo-chee-na.

It's pretty. I don't like it as much as Lucy, but I like it more than Luciana and, especially, Lucia. I'd say loo-see-na.There's a similar Polish name that I just love: Lucyna (lu-TSI-na).
