You take the good, you take the bad
So, I'm pretty set on using Everlily as a fn should we ever (ha!) have another girl. I know it's not necessarily going to be well liked, but I'd still like some opinions. -------------------

I think it's pretty. And it goes well with your other children's names too. It gets a thumbs up from me. Besides, if she ever has any problems, she can go by Lily.

I don't like it at all. I like the meaning. But it just looks weird and confusing. Everly? Everily?
It could be ok as a middle name, but definitely not as a first name.

I think it looks quite pretty. My only concern is it's constantly going to be mistaken for Everly (and mispronounced) because everyone knows that one and it's definitely getting popular. So as long as you're prepared to constantly correct people and explain, then I say go for it. She can always drop the Ever and go by Lily if it bugs her.

I think it goes well with your other kids' names and the sort of fairy tale, ever-blooming Lily imagery is pleasant enough. Just because it seemed vaguely familiar somehow, I looked it up. Don't know if this is where you heard of it, or if it interests you to know it's "out there": http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Everlily

My first thought - and try as I might to imagine enjoying this name, and I am trying, the thought never quite goes away: What in creation is an "everlily"? It's Everly + Lily, smushed, like Aurorain or Emersonnet.
Or maybe it's like a soonflower, a veryvine, or elserose. Something sort of Lewis Carroll, or ... who am I thinking of?It's just not as namey or strong an invention as Caemlyn. It's very pretty sounding and looking, yeah - but the fact of the nonsense compound word is too heavy. It's sort of psychedelic. Two names, Ever Lily, would be nicer. Or, something like Everlilah is alright.

It's a little silly, but at least it sounds decidedly feminine which is a lot more than you can say for many names being used on girls these days.

Naah...I prefer Eirabeth.

Eh. I think both Ever and Lily are fine on their own, but Everlily is...to much. It would be nice as a middle name though.

Agreed. Everlily is too much. Also, I think she'd be called Everly a lot just because Everlily is so unheard of.

Well, it's not my style, but I have to admit it's pretty. It fits well with your other children's names. It might be confused with "Everly", but since Everly isn't a hugely common name that probably won't be a big deal.

Honestly, would I use it? Nah, not my style. However, should you use it? YES.Why? Because, it goes well with your other names, and you clearly have a strong attachment to Everlily, and I think you might regret not using it.It isn't an unpleasant sound, a bit frilly, but not unpleasant. I would mix it with maybe two more solid middlenames.Everlily Catriona Jane
Everlily Adelaide Grace
Everlily Alice Louisa
Everlily Imogen MaryForgive me, double middle names are not my forte.

Knowing you a bit, and knowing your kids' names, I am in full support of an Everlily in your family. And I would nickname her Everly. :)
