Oo, Woodrow does have a certain clunk to it. I like that. Myron too. Can you just picture a Vernon and a Gilbert as a sibset.

I like the way you organized. Some stand-outs...
- Cuthbert as endearing. Cuthbert is almost funny, which is why it's so adorable if used IRL. I seriously can't imagine it on a child, but really wish to see it on a child at the same time. I feel the same way about Somerby. - Digby as un-clunky. I sooo think it clunks around, but I also can picture it on some Disney sidekick for one of their tween shows. Still love it. Great cat name too. - Surprised to see Edgar on your "too clunky" list, though I need to start admitting to myself that not everyone loves this name. Roger too. - made me smile to see Gideon, Ambrose and Bertram in the same category... bertram being the odd one out. Love them all though.

Yes. I guess a lot of clunky names tend to be old fashioned, but that is likely because consonant-heavy names used to be in vogue, as compared to the lighter, more vowel heavy choices parents pick today. I also love Cedric, thought I always think "Cedric the Entertainer" in my head.

I like Augustus, Fergus, Bertram, Roderick, Simeon and Ivor/ Ivo, but I consider them old fashioned and bold rather than clunky. Some similar names: Magnus, Bertrand, Albert, Alfred, Algernon, Winifred, Sebastian, Sinclair, Rupert, Vincent

Boys names are harder to classify as clunky, because part of clunk is being masculine a bit - which they inherently are (or should be). Anyway... like your additions. Magnus, Bertrand and Rupert are smile-inducing.
