Eliza Dean flows beautifully. Taylor Dean and Paloma Dean work but I think Eliza flows much better.

Did you ask about naming a boy last year? I'm curious what you picked, if you're the same person. There's only one classic name on this list and it's Angela. The rest are fashion names. Not that that is bad! I like most of them. The whole list looks really well considered, and they all have decent flow. You're asking for nitpicks. I've got those...Eliza Dean is Eliza D and that makes me think of Eliza Doolittle. I personally would not do that. I passed over Charles for my son because our last name starts with a B, too.Best combos:
Isla, Angela, and Morgan.
Isla Dean sounds sleek and smart, and has a really nice flow, almost like it could be all one name Isladean (but it's obviously two names of course). I personally like Isla
Angela Dean sounds timeless and powerful.
Morgan Dean sounds spiffy and modern. A little bit like the name of an insurance firm or something ... but not so much that it should stop you IMO.Next tier:
Ava - flows nice like Isla does. Reminds me a little of Everdeen, like Katniss Everdeen, ha? That probably doesn't matter, but I'm not a big fan of Ava and that's why I'm putting it as second tier... I just personally feel like Ava doesn't sound nice, it sounds bossy and aggressive and vain to me. I know it's a decent name, I just dislike it.
Lyla Dean also flows nice. I find Lyla hard to say with the two Ls, though. It's tricky enough to say Isla all the time, if you have a lazy tongue like I do - stick an L in front of it, and it'd come out LAL-la way too often. You may not care about that, though, and if you don't, Lyla Dean is nice. Leila (LAY-la) would also be nice, and more timeless than Lyla.

Mirfak, yes, that was me about a year ago asking about boy names! Thanks again for your valuable input. You are quite the guru of names! No baby yet, but if we do have a boy, I think we're leaning towards Maxwell. Now I'm onto girl names. Any new suggestions?

I'm probably not the only one who remembers you. Welcome back ... I'm no guru, I just have wordy opinions. Honestly I really like the name Isla and haven't come up with anything I think is better, at least not anything that looks like it would be your style. Cyra, Fiona, Liana, Geneva, Bronwen, Calla, Alix, Tegan, Kaia, Skylar, ... hmm.

I like Eliza and Ava best. Also, in the way you are using the word, the spelling should be complement instead of compliment.

I want to say Lyra Dean, because I love Lyra the most, but the sound of Eliza Dean is swoon worthy. I quite like the 3 syllable plus 1 syllable flow (I like Paloma Dean too!).

I like Eliza Dean, Ava Dean and Lyla Dean. All of those combos sound really good.
