I quite like Athena and Tobin. Nice to see Maxine too. With that spelling, I'm guessing Clariza must end in an "eeza" sound. I like Clarissa, personally.

Crystalrose?! Please tell me you're joking. It's all mushed together like that too? :(

Not joking, and yep, spelled just like that.

FEMALE:
Ola - I just want to finish with Como estas? I know the spelling is different than Hola... but I can't help it, or take it seriously. Felicidad - As a word and noun-name lover, I want to show support for this, but it lacks all femininity and poise to me. I can only hope she went by a nickname. That said, here's to embracing yoru culture!Maxine - Like it. I suggested it to DH last year myself. The cool factor is upped by the 'x' here, but it's a standard classic from years gone by. I prefer Roxanne, but Maxine is just as lively. Clariza - Um, love this. Obviously biased by the similarities to Clarisse, but this name is pumped up a notch. I like it! Part of me says that I should have named my daughter this, just so I could justify using Beatriz for a second. ;)Lileth - Hmm. The spelling is far less attractive than Lilith, but the sound is still there. I do like Lil* names. They would be on my radar if not for extreme over-exposure these days. Macrina - This has an unusual charm. I assume the culture is Spanish-based... which makes the sound of this quite lovely. If it is not Spanish (or arguably Italian) in sound, it would be incredibly ugly and stunted on the tongue. Crystalrose - Hmm... Not really my style to smoosh... but this is not aweful. Crystal has a bad rap in the States as a ditzy or stripper-y name... but I have always thought the image behind the name was lovely (comparable to Amber). Athena - Well, can't argue with this strong choice. Not really my style, but a bold choice. MALE:
Errick - I just prefer to use 'c' when a 'ck' is involved. Eric will forever be my preferred spelling for this. Tobin - I like this. I have only seen it on girls IRL, but always thought it would make a decent boy name. The ending is far stronger than Tobiah or Tobias, but you still get teh meaninga nd history of the combined names. Straightforward name.

It wouldn't surprise me if Maxine moves up the charts on the coat tails of Mackenzie and Madeline
Athena is lovely.
