Two new babies -- opinions please
My neighbor's daughter-in-law recently gave birth to Jax James. James is much used in the family. The daughter-in-law of another mother at my son's basketball practice gave birth to Colette Rosalind. Rosalind is the baby's mother's middle name also. It is pronounced ROSE-ah-lind.

I think James handsome and don't mind the alliteration but Jax is disappointing and I don't care for the flow.Colette Rosalind is very nice, though I prefer the usual Rosalind pronunciation.

Jax James is interesting, I like Jax more so than James. Colette Rosalind is lovely!

Colette Rosalind is beautiful, very romantic. Jax is not my thing, at all.

Jax really bugs me. It's trying way too hard and may as well be a flaky celebrity name. James is nice as a first name, filler as a middle.Colette Rosalind is...wow...kind of BtN-y, actually. :) I don't love either name, but really appreciate the combo.

Hate Jax, Colette is okay. Rosalind is nice in the middle name spot, I like family names being carried on.

Jax James is too short and abrupt. Jackson James would have been way better. They still could have called him Jax for short. Colette Rosalind is very elegant. It's not something I would ever use, but I'm glad it exists in the world. :)

Colette is very cutesy/fancy, like a poodle with painted toenails.
Jax is lame. Jax James ... who jacks James? Do I really want to know? Two thumbs down.

Jax James I could take or leave. Jax is trendy but edgy enough to make him "cool" and James is a standard classic. Alliteration is not always my thing, but I know that family names trump opinions. Colette Rosalind though - yessss. I really like this. Colette is a pretty little dainty name to me, even though it carries a punch with some strong sounds and letters. Pairing it with Rosalind just ups the "ahhh" factor. I think it a stronga nd uncommon choice with some classy names. Super fan. (I might be just jazzed to see Rosalind used).

I don't mind the alliteration but Jax is horrible! I hate it. Colette Rosalind is adorable, although I'm not a fan of -ette names. I would pronounce Rosalind the same way.

Jax James sounds odd to me. This is one time I'd prefer to see Jaxon or Jackson purely for the purpose of improving the flow.Colette Rosalind is sweet. I'm not a fan of the ROSE-ah-lind pronunciation but I'm so excited to see Colette on a baby.
