In order of preference:Oscar - I totally love this name! I'm not sure if I'd actually use it, but that's just because there's so many other names I'd prefer to use. I often see this name up against Oliver, and I definately prefer Oscar!
Rory - I totally love this name, but I don't think I'd use it. I wish it could even be a possibility, but it's just hard to pronounce; it's not a very elegant (for lack of a better word) name... I'm sorry if that doesn't make sense!
Adam - Totally a classic, handsome name.
Jacob - I actually used to care very little for this name, but that was only because I hate the nickname Jake. Don't hide a nice name with a nickname!
Samson - I think it's safe to say I prefer this over Samuel. Either way, I love the nickname Sam!
Oliver - Olive and liver. That is all.
Taliesin - I've never heard of this name, but I can definately see the appeal. I'd just personally never use it.
Lachlan - It is a nice name, but there's so many wrong ways to pronounce it. Perhaps I'd use it if I were from Scotland?
Lochlan - ''
Jude - I'll never understand how this name is so popular. I don't find it appealing; it's way too "hard" (for lack of a better word), and not in a strong, appealing way.
Alfie - If this was Alfred, it'd be at the top of the list.

Lachlan and Samson are both on my own list so obviously I love them, although I would spell it Sampson. I also like the nickname Sonny with Samson. Oliver is very handsome too although popularity would be an issue for me, where I am here in England at least because I know several. I love Alfie, especially as a nickname for Alfred but if you are planning to use Alfie as a full name I think it would work well enough.Taliesin has a lovely sound to it when you know how to pronounce it, unfortunately I don't think many people will. I do tend to love Arthurian names though.http://www.behindthename.com/pnl/149886

To be honest, I don't like all of the name you've brought up but I don't hate them with a passion. They don't really get my brain going, you know.
