As a kid I saw kids named things like Isaiah, Elijah and Josiah as uber-Christian as well. As they became mainstream that changed to hipster-esque

Yeah, I can see the current hipster vibe... especially when people go far out of teh box and use Biblical names like Zadoc and Amzi. Though, I do love Amzi.
It's weird how some names like Zipporah are hispter chic, but others like Zacharaias are still a little bit country to me.
