Our choice

I know I've posted about this before, but we made our final choice on a name for a boy. This time I swear I'm not gonna change it again this time, but I just want to hear your opinions. So, our son will be called Paul Conrad.
Paul's after my dad, Conrad is after my husband, whose name is Kurt.

Paul is handsome and underused. Conrad kicks Paul up a notch on the interesting factor.Paul Conrad is a nice combo.

Pauls a timeless classic. You don't meet a lot of young Paul's nowadays and Conrad flows great with it.

Conrad honouring Kurt is a desperate attempt and awkward. Want to honour Kurt then use Kurt.

I don't see why. Kurt is just a variant of Conrad. Or, in our language, a contraction of Koenraad.

Not a big fan of Paul. It's really dated now, although he's likely to be the only Paul in his class. Conrad is really nice though. What about switching the names around and going with Conrad Paul?

I really want my son to have my dad's name as a first name, so I won't switch them around.

I would be much more excited if it was Conrad Paul. Paul is just really not interesting to me at all.

Not what I would choose, but nice enough and better than your last pick ;) However, in my opinion Conrad isn't honoring Kurt. But each to their own I guess. Myrtle and Paul sounds good together :)

I like itPaul has a retro vibe (you don't generally hear it on newborns these days) and I really really like Conrad its a handsome nameCongrats on deciding and deciding to honour your dad :)

Love it. Paul is such a handsome choice and a classic name that lends to almost any personality or profession. I happen to really like it for it's simplicity and soft strength. I feel the same way about John, but Paul is more interesting to look it and hear than John. Conrad makes a nice combow ith it,a nd the added significance means it is a good choice.

I like both names very much - well enough to use - and they sound and look really good together. Excellent choice. And Myrtle and Paul is a timeless combination!
