I prefer Amelia, because I don't really see the difference in sound with Emilia, and I have better associations with Amelia. I probably wouldn't use it because it's so popular where I live, but just substituting in Emilia doesn't really make a difference in my mind since they're so similar. Plus I seem to keep struggling on how to say Emilia. Emily with an 'a' or Amelia with an 'Eh' sound at the beginning? I'm never quite sure.
