Re: Declan?

It seems unnecessary to make another post only a day later. Sometimes posts from several days ago get late responses. You also might get more responses if you included more in the post. Are you looking for just opinions on Declan, other names that you might like, middle name combos? Perhaps instead of making threads for each individual name you are liking, put them all in one post. People tend to comment more on posts with more names. That being said, Declan is okay. It's not my favorite but I don't hate it. It was a character on Criminal Minds so it makes me think of that. I think it's a bit clipped but I'm really neutral on it. It doesn't bring up any kind of imagery. It's an okay name.http://www.behindthename.com/pnl/139762

Okay! Will do, I will try making one post but I don't think of all that at the same time. :) So yeah. Thanks for your opinion.

"People tend to comment more on posts with more names."About that, I put up a post a week or so ago with a really long list of names, yet I only got a few responses. So, I don't think there's a correlation between how many first names you put up and how many responses you get from your post.

You have to get the right balance. A long list of names can be a lot to process and people don't always have the energy for that.

All about balance, agreed!

^This. The posts with five to ten names always get more responses than the posts with, say, thirty or forty names.

Yeah, I think if you generally stay under 10 names, people are more likely to respond. I know if I see a really long list, I just pass it over because I feel like I need to comment on everyone and I don't have the energy.
