The bottom half of your list seems to match the best. Jude, George and Gregory seem to sound the best with it, though I think that Solomon would be both bold and handsome to pair with Lydia. Cole is the same simple style as Lydia and allows the middle and surnames to create personality for the name. I am not a fan of Alfie, Angus, Cormac, Darcy or Ewan as sibset names in this case. they just don't sound right to my ears. Though, I do not live in England.

Alfie is extremely popular; if you love it, using Alfred would give him the dignity of a full name plus the opportunity to become Red, Riddy or Fred if he likes.Cole seems very American. Nothing wrong with that, except that it has the same problem as Alfie. If you love it, name him Nicholas and use Cole instead of Nick as a nickname.Darcy is going to the girls - no idea why. Perhaps better as a mn? And Jude is rther dated as well as Beatley. For the rest, I wouldn't use Caleb, Solomon or Christian as fns. Where I live, they cause expectations about religious affiliations that I don't meet.I really like Angus, George (a bit too royal, though!) and Rufus, and also Gregor rather than Gregory. Oliver is lovely but Ollie isn't, so another good mn choice. Cormac and Ewan are very Celtic so I'd avoid them, but they're good names.

Alfie - I hate this one. But I hear it's popular in the UK.
Angus - I can't get past the bovine associations. I prefer August.
Caleb - Handsome and warm.
Christian - Fine. Nice, strong, not super exciting.
Cole - Love it as a nickname for Coleman. Or ever Colton, if necessary
Cormac - LOVE this!
Darcy - Meh, not a big fan, but it's okay. Actually, it would be pretty good with Lydia
Ewan - The pronunciation would be tricky here (Canada). How about there?
George - Old man
Gregory - Not my style, but it does fit with Lydia
Jude - Very nice. Although Judah nn Jude is more my speed
Oliver - Nice, safe
Rufus - dog name
Solomon - a bit out-there, but okayMy favourites: Cormac and Caleb
Best matches to Lydia: Gregory, Oliver, Jude

I love Darcy, Alfie, George, and Gregory with Lydia. I think my favourite is Darcy (I love Darcy on a boy regardless of its usage on girls here!). There is the Pride and Prejudice connection, which is more obvious with both Lydia and Darcy, but it's a good association. Anyway, Lydia & Darcy are just perfect.
