Robert Nathaniel. My oldest son is named Robert.

Robert Nathaniel is better imo, as the flow and look is more appealing.

Robert Nathaniel, because I love Nathaniel.

I like all three of these names. For me, Robert Nathaniel sounds better because Nathaniel doesn't repeat the same first vowel sound in Robert, like Joshua does.

I like Nathaniel better than Joshua. But I don't love the flow of Robert Nathaniel. Plus, I think I'd endearing nickname a little Robert Joshua 'RoJo" :) So that's my pick.

Robert Nathaniel: I've always felt that Nathaniel was a handsome name, while Joshua was less in my mind. I think it is the "osh" sound I don't particularly like.I also like how 1700s the name Nathaniel feels for me. It seems like a truly classic combo.

I prefer Robert Nathaniel. I like both names and it simply sounds better than Robert Joshua.

Robert Nathaniel - both a grand choices, and I love Robert, which has been neglected lately - but Nathaniel flows better because the first syllables of Robert and Joshua rhyme.
I also really like Nathaniel and came close to using it.
