Re: What do the names you'd choose say about YOU?

Have we met? That was scary close.Only thing you were way off base with is the Shakespeare - cant stand the stuff. But I have my nose in a book at every opportunity and historical novels are my favourite! Also, I don't think I do particularly value strentgh in men and grace in women- I'm very much there's no such thing as boy things and girl things, and I'd probably extend "boy" traits and "girl" traits. I do mostly prefer names that are clearly boy or clearly girl, so that could be what gives that impression, but it's not intentional I just generally find I don't like most unisex names and I definitely don't like masculine sounding names on girls, mainly because I feel like the girls have so much choice already whereas the pool of boys names is getting smaller and smaller (and it never goes the other way, its always from boy to girl). I feel like it's placing value on traditional masculine traits like strength, and trying to apply them to your girl and I think girls can have plenty of strentgh in their own right. Not religious at all but was raised as such so do know my bible stories. I don't go looking for biblical names but I also don't avoid them. And most of my names are based on either places I've been to an experiences they remind me of, or people that they remidn me of. There's almost no names that are there simply because I just like them. I have plenty of names on my list that are there just because I like the look, sound, or meaning but almost all of the ones I would actually use have personal significance as well. So a ton of thought goes ion the combos and they all have layers of meaning to them!So pretty spot on, especially about the long term goals and being on the verge of reaching them!
