I love unisex names, though most of them I prefer on one sex or the other. However, of my long list, here are those I wouldn't mind for either gender technically:
Arden
Adilet
Sheridan
Briar
Joss
Michi
Rain
Temple
Arlie
Robin
Sora
Blair
Camille
Hollis
Whitney
Nima
Desta
Selby
Min (probably as a nickname though)
Brook
Cyril / Cyrille
Evren
Jordan
Gale
Eden
Liore

Hmm, Diamond on a boy. Interesting. I cannot decide if I like it for being bold, or hate it. Sean on a girl is interesting too. I would go with Seana, Shawn, or Shauna... but it's interesting as Sean.

I know a woman who called her daughter Chantal, specifically to get the nick-name Shawn.
I suppose she could have called her Shawn, and had done, but perhaps she felt that was too "out there";her other children have pleasant, certainly main-stream, names.

Really? Why not go with Shawntal then? Although, that would be atrocious. Chantal is such a pretty name. . . I suppose the Shawn sound is the popular nickname as well... usually spelled Chan or Channy I am sure. I know a Shantal... and she goes by Shan (Shawn) or Shanny (Shawnny). She is Filipina though... so naming works differently there.

Diamonds are hard ... haha? Anyway I think it sounds "strong." Not that I would ever use it for either sex. It seems to have been used quietly as a male name in the past - broke into top 1k sometime in the 1890s.I'm influenced by actress Sean Young, who made the name Sean unisex for me. There's also Sian.

Oo, I like Sian... and I could support a female Sean. DH likes Seth for a girl, a lot... so I guess it is the same thing. Plus, I secretly adore Noah on girls. Diamante is Tagalog for Diamond, and a unisex name in the Philippines. I guess I can see it, but for some reason Diamond is not even really name-ish to me in English. That said, I am all in favor of breaking out the obscure fashions of the 1800s. One of the reasons that I like Silver and Stirling for boys, and Gilda and Golden for girls.

I like Noa, but it's laughable as a girls name around here. I totally would use Noah with the h for a girl too. Looking forward to the time when it's ok in the US to do that. Sigh. Tatum is really cool, never considered it for a boy, but I like it.
