Lucas will always, always bring to mind mucus. I like Luca, Luc, and Luke but Lucas has an ick factor.
Lochlan is really nice. It might be a bit of an issue that it isn't spelled Lachlan. Having to correct people can be a pain sometimes but generally isn't as bad as people think.
Laurie isn't very nice when it's not a nickname or a middle name. But Laurence, nn Laurie? Adore it.
