Vin Diesel's new daughter's name is...
Pauline! In a tribute to Paul Walker. I saw it here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/03/23/vin-diesel-pauline_n_6922522.htmlAlthough I don't like the name itself (I prefer Paula), it's nice to see a celeb kid with a normal, gender-appropriate name that honours an important person in the parent's life.Thoughts?PitaPata Cat tickers

Pauline is not to my taste but it's a classic. I'm actually surprised that the name wasn't trendy or plain ridiculous. It's a good way to pay tribute to Paul Walker however.

I am shocked - SHOCKED - that they didn't call her Walker. That would have been right up Hollywood's alley, no? And she would have been set for a future brand name - Walker Diesel, how much more marketable badasss can you get??I like Pauline.

I love the name Pauline, it's beautiful, elegant, and a name you don't hear to often. I had a feeling that Vin Diesel would name his next child after his best-friend.

While I prefer Paulina, I think the thought is lovely and so sweet! It's also so much better than your typical Hollywood fare so I'm all for that.

I saw that, and loved it.
Pauline is such a lovely name too, and it was due a comeback anyway. I slightly prefer Paulina... but any variation is a plus. Paula is just ok to me, but I adore Paola... though that may be because I know a lot of Paolas.

That's so sweet. Pauline is an adorable name on it's own, and I'd love if they used Polly as a nickname, but the significance to them really makes the name. It's refreshing.

That would be adorable!

Pauline is nice. I much prefer it to Paula.

I prefer Paulina best of all the female Paul names, but Pauline is nice too, in an especially kitschy way that I don't expect from a celebrity. It's a sweet gesture.

I prefer Pauline to Paula, but I agree about the normal, gender-appropriate name. Thank God it wasn't Paul. Wouldn't surprise me.

He could have done an awful lot worse. I'll never like Pauline, but it's definitely not a clockstopper.
