ASSA is really not that bad... Like, really.
If it was just plain ASS, then yeah, it would be unfortunate.
How often is the child going to write their full initials as appose to just AA?
And unless ASSA has a negative connotation where you are (other than ass with an a on the end), I wouldn't be put off using it.
