Elizabeth Susan
I was on this board months ago considering Marianne for a girl and looked for suggestions for a boy. Well we had a girl and named her Elizabeth because I just love the name. Susan is a family name. Thanks for your help everyone....
Now that she is here and several months old, sometimes I think she should have been an Amy, lol. She is SO freaking joyful and happy all the time I think Amy fits that personality better. Oh well!

Congratulations! Elizabeth is classically lovely and will age gracefully. You can always use Amy for the next child.

Congratulations! What a classic name. Good choice. And how nice that she's so happy so much. One nice thing about Elizabeth is all of its nickname options, so there's bound to be one that fits her bubbly personality. (My favorites: Ellie, Beth, Elsa, and Betsy)

Congrats! Elizabeth Susan is beautiful. And don't worry if her personality seems too joyful to be an Elizabeth. There are something like 30 nn options for Elizabeth and some of them seem downright bursting with joy. :-) BTW, my niece is named Aimee and she is FAR from joyful! Also, her sister is named Emily, lol.

We called her Lizzy (Lizzie?) quite a bit. I like Eliza but my DH does not so I don't think that one will stick :(
We also call her Tutu because she is the second born child and the second born grandchild on one side. Various forms have evolved- Tootles, Toots, Tutu Beans and my fav- from her auntie- Tutenkamen!

Elizabeth Susan is a beautiful name, not that Amy isn't.
