Wookiee (or Chewie for Chewbacca! - I acutally know someone w/ a dog named this and it's super cute.)

Roddenberry with Roddy or Bear or Berry for short?
Spock might suit him (RIP Leonard Nimoy!) Actually Nimoy wouldn't be bad either.

Worf would be cute, too (I'm probably the only person that thinks Worf would be a cute name! hahaha What can I say? I grew up on The Next Generation.)
Geordi or LeVar if you're a Geordi LaForge or Reading Rainbow fan :) I actually think Geordi would sound great for a dog that looks like that.
If he's got style, Picard would be awesome, or Riker if he's spunky, or Wesley if he's sweet
And I know she's a girl, but Guinan was awesome and you could call him Guy for short (and depending on his haircut he might even look like he's wearing her hat! haha)

I like them all for different reasons I was thinking of Dax just a minute ago. but I could tell I could Trekkie out with you guys. I love Q, somebody suggested Tribble down below and I love that Idea and will use it for a nn but I don't think it sounds professional enough to go on a service dog harnese.
