Agreed on Edwin Leander. Emory Frank's oddball vibe is what made me include it; it flows well, I like both names, they feel well-suited temp-wise (I get warmth from each), yet they're not quite, to paraphrase you, compatible.
I thought Knower was intriguing as well and this "virtue" doesn't seem to be so popular as the others, at least not among the few hundred pages of descendants I scanned through; this was the only bearer I saw. (Not that I didn't miss plenty of interesting names, I'm sure.)
