Re: ... and the most loved names on my list.
I hate these names:Rupert- Wimpy white bear. Why is he so skinny, anyway? Is he anorexic? I've never seen a damn BEAR be so skinny before. Stupid.
Rhys- It's insubstantial and weak. I hear it and forget about it instantly.Juniper- I don't want to use Jennifer because it's too common! I know, let's use Juniper! That's totally different and not annoying at all! :-D
Elowen- Reeks of Middle Earth. I'm not a fan of Middle Earth type names. The others, I can take or leave. "An intellectual says a simple thing in a hard way. An artist says a hard thing in a simple way." -Charles Bukowski

Hey! Bears come in all different shapes and sizes ;) If Jennifer weren't so painfully overused and dated, it would probably be amongst my favourites. Perhaps that really is why I'm so fond of Juniper.

I still like the sound of Jennifer more than Juniper, popularity be damned. Juniper sounds oddly clipped to me; Jennifer has a better flow.Sorry I body-shamed the bear. I should be more sensitive. ;)

I always thought he looked a little too close to a Grateful Dead bear

Juniper's sound definitely took some time to grow on me, so I can see where you're coming from :)
