Siblings for Matilda?
I know some people are kind of tired of Matilda, but as far as names go, it really isn't all that popular in the U.S, and DH and I love it.However, I'm not sure what names would pair nicely with it, if we were to have a Matilda and she were to have a brother or a sister, what would you suggest?
In case it helps, we like Matilda because of the literary and historical associations, and I particularly like the medievalness of it. So names along the same lines would be perfect.

How do you not love Elizabeth? I love it; I worry about it being a bit common sometimes, but I love it. You're my second Guinevere! It's going on the short list.August is wonderful. He really likes the nickname 'Gus'... so, that is going on the list too. I also like Thomas, a real favorite, but we have someone very close to us with that name.

I don't think I'd use it, but Constanze is nice to see. I always liked running across the Constanza's that would be in historical family trees.Adelaide seems to be the favorite.I really like Edmund, too.

You sound like you've been reading about the Mozarts and the Webers.

I do think Mozart is amazing and find his family life interesting, but I did chose those names without thinking of their relations to Mozart.

I'm a Josephine fan, certainly. Thanks!

Will you sweet talk my hubby into Frederick? Please? :)I also like Emeric & Ambrose for boys.Millicent is nice. I like Millie. Genevieve, too.Sadly, he's already nixed Beatrix & Beatrice, even though it is a family name.

I love Matilde so... Matilda is right up my alley as well. I think that Beatrix, Camille, Adelaide, Charlotte, Eleanor, Rosalind, Cordelia, Althea, Therese, Veronica or Tiffany would make sense. For boys/brothers, I would go with Henry, Leopold, Hugh, Gilbert, Conrad, Roger, Edmund, Otto or Wallace. .

I adore Henry. We know 5 adult Henry's, so it is a little hard for us to use that one. I do love Ed- names, too, though... Edmund, Edward.Adelaide & Eleanor are favorites. I really like Rosalind & Veronica, too. Veronica is particularly nice, because the 'ron' part could be honoring. It is a stretch, but still... Thank you!

You have so many good choices.I really have loved Eleanor & Adelaide for a while, unfortunately I can't be the only one that has a say. ;)I never thought about Guinevere, but I really like it.Arthur, I have always liked. However I think Everard is interesting, and Magnus, too.Thank you!
