Recent ancestor names
So, my husband wants to look into family names (actual baby means he can get excited about names I guess!). So, here is a list of my parents, his parents, and our grandparents names:
Parents - Roberto, Conchita, Charles, Timot, and Rebecca
Grandfolk - Pedro, Andreana, Orlando, Concetta, Mario, Francesca, Antonina, Salvatore
Opinions on any and all of these names?
Usability, impressions, critique - anything welcome!!
Feel free to suggest a shorter version (I.e. Dreana instead of Andreana)THANKS!______________________________________________

Rebecca, Antonina and Orlando are lovely. I could also live happily with Robert(o), Charles and Marius, though I prefer Marinus. And my son is Peter. It's difficult to judge family names without your opinion of the family member getting in the way, I find!

I love Conchita. It's so cool.
Don't know how usable it is, but IIWY I'd be tempted to at least make it a middle name.
Concetta feels more awkward to say, for me - I guess I've just had more Spanish than Italian in my life.I like Robert, Charles, Rebecca, Mario, Francesca, Antonina. There aren't really any bad ones there, although Pedro and Mario are a little stereotypey to be usable (ymmv). Probably Salvatore too.Since you mentioned shortening names, I kinda like Lando (LAHN-do not LAND-o) for Orlando. But that's farfetched I guess.Antonina could be Nina, which is cool.Let's say I had to name your kid using these names ... I'd probably pick something like Mariana Conchita or Antonina "Nina" Andrea, and Francisco (alternately Francis) Orlando.

Actually Lando is totally usable, since he is called Lando as a nickname. My husband had to ask him if Lando was his full name or a nickname... that is how we found out it was Orlando. I actually found out when I joking suggested we use Lando Calrissian, Star Wars. Nina is also her nickname. I call her Nona Nina (Grandma Nina). So... that's a decent suggestion too, thanks. Francis Orlando is fantastic.

I like Charles and Francesca, and I like Adriana with this spelling. What bout just Drea? Or using CHarlotte instead of Charles, Francis instead o Francesca etc?

I actually kinda like Adriana too, despite it's trendiness. However, Dh picked out Andreana to highlight with excitedment... he was sure to point out that it was ANdreana not ADriana... so I feel like that might be important to him. I do like Drea though. That is kinda cool.
Andriana mighta lso be a decent alternative spelling. Fracis / Frances is lovely too.

Francesca is on our list of favorites, so I have to admit that I absolutely love it. Franny or Frankie, or Cesca would be nice nick names if it was in the first name spot. It also goes with some of your recent favorites:Francesca Perlas G-- ORCamille Francesca, Nadine Francesca :)I also think Antonina is very regal sounding and would also work with some of your favorite names. I think Orlando & Salvatore are very cool and interesting names.I like Rebecca, but I'm not sure I'd use it, to be honest, but that's just a style thing.

Dh like Chessa or Cesca for Francesca. It does go well Perlas. Thanks for pointing that out. I think I will mention it to DH. My sister had Francesca picked out for a failed pregnancy, and she used to say it was off limits, but recently she suggested it... so I guess it's back on the table. To my delight. Thanks for your response.
