Dog names?
I currently have a dog named Buddy. I want to find another name for a dog that is similar to Buddy. I was thinking either similar meaning but all I can think of is Pal. Or maybe a classic dog name like Buddy is like Rover or Spot or Fido.Or maybe something that begins with B, like Bo or Benny. Or stylistically like Buddy, like Muffy, Bunny, Rocky, etc. Also, his name is actually Budrow Peabody, so the name would have to have a more formal version for his paperwork. Any ideas?

Okay, my brain is weird. In addition to this, I attended dog shows as a kid and fell in love with over-the-top registered names and their "call signs"...except when said call sign had nothing to do with, or made no sense with, the more formal name; young me found that highly peeving. My apologies if these suggestions are entirely unhelpful, but here they are...Maxwell Moonbeam "Beamer" - Maxwell was first to come to mind when I read Budrow
Manfred Majesty "Jester"
Macon Mischief "Chief"

Love your combo --> nicknames I responded to something on here once about a racehorse name, and I decided on - Fair Lady Maybellene "Fable" ..... And then there could even be "Fable's Stable" ;)

Haha Budrow Peabody is too cute. I like Benny, it would be funny to name him Benihana Yoshi, like after the restaurant.Or there's:
Roscoe
Rocky Rococo (I'm on a restaurant chain of thought - this is a pizza chain in Wisconsin)
Kit
Kipper (a dog on a kid's show) - could be Kip or Kippington

I wouldn't do one that sounds too similar to Buddy, because that could get confusing for the dogs. What about Oswin? It's got a similar meaning to Buddy, and you could shorten it to Oz, or maybe Ozzy. I like the idea of a dog named Oswin, actually. Hm.
