Between Ferris, Faris, and Farris, I would think Ferris is already the least confusing and easiest for people to read and write and recognize. By far.
If you do decide to change it, for whatever reason, Farris (like Harris) seems most reasonable to me - though, again, way less "friendly" than Ferris.
Faris looks strange to me and not the most logical.
