It would definitely be a middle name. Would you pronounce Marle the same as Marley or would you pronounce it "marl". Because all I hear is the beginning of Marlboro. -------------------

I think either pronunciation works! I'd prefer Marle, personally, but then I didn't think of Marlboro.

There are two "L" names I was debating on. I just realized that as of right now, my son pronounces one of those names (Lissy) with a "Y" (Yissy). I think I'm just going to embrace it. I think it will be a sweet memory in years to come.
