K: Kay Powell
(Always moody and one time, she purposely made me look bad to one of the other teachers for her own amusement. I was FIVE. Also, she sent me to the principal's office once for digging in my nails and breaking the skin of this boy named Phillip who bodily attacked me on the playground.)

(She was older and was always nice and loving to the students. I can't remember her ever raising her voice. She was more the kind to convince you to do something than to yell at you to do it. I remember when Mrs. Powell was teaching, Mrs. Nelson would always sit next to this loud, autistic boy and would quietly remind him to raise his hand.)

(I was in a multiage class and the same teacher taught you for both grades. Best teacher ever and occasionally, I still see her out somewhere and get excited about it and we're Facebook friends.)

3: Janet McClain
(A teacher who had no patience for me whatsoever. I still remember her trying to send me to the principal's office before I explained my side of the story one time and I had a break down in the hallway. I was an honor roll student and I didn't get in trouble a lot. My mom was actually proud of me for refusing to go with her to the office, but she was terribly upset that the teacher made me cry and wouldn't listen to me.)

4. Mrs. Garrison
(Don't remember her first name and she was terribly strict and never smiled and wore hot pink lipstick that she reapplied multiple times a day. This was the first teacher to give me hours of homework.)

5. Jimmie McGaw
(Always bothered me that I thought she had a boy's name. Also she had little patience for me. I have AD so I was difficult, I'm sure. But I got in trouble with her repeatedly and she actively disliked me until that spring when everyone in the class had to write an essay on conservation. I brought in a six-page paper (front and back which is a lot for an 11 year old) and it won this regional competition and she and I got to go have some dinner with the governor and people I didn't care about, but she sure did.)

(who was amazing and got married the next year and became Robin Greene)

(who was always so thoughtful and nice to me)

(for the longest time, I thought we got to call Ms. Cathey by her first name until I found out that Cathey was a surname too. Another teacher that didn't like me. She put me in a closet once.)
Mrs. Cloffenstein
(She was a science teacher and I remember all of her classes being very cold and very difficult and all the way across campus.)
I'm sure there were more teachers, but I don't remember them.

Let's keep going! I switched and went to private school at this point because I got bullied a lot in public school.
From grade 7 through graduation, I had the same teachers for my classes almost every year so I remember most of their names.

Diana) Cockrell and her husband Dennis Cockrell
(She was sweet and new to teaching. So was he, but they both left when he got fired for listening to the local pop radio station. I'm serious. It was a VERY conservative Christian school.)

(wonderful lady and she doubled as my guidance counselor a few times)
Ann Bailes
(The other greatest teacher I've ever had. Helped me through depression my senior year. Also gave me my first job at the library. I remember her telling us her maiden name was Klopfenstein and we should be thankful she got married so we didn't have to write that.)

(She was cold toward students and mispronounced everything. He was wonderful and another solid supporter I had when dealing with depression.)

(Super cool, older guy who really knew how to teach and make students care about learning. He had a gift.)

K: Mrs. Anita Brown (She was my art teacher, but she moved to Kindergarten my sister's first year.) & Mrs. Ligeikis (lih-GAY-kiss. I was in class with her daughter. She had to correct EVERYONE, every year.)
