I love the name, although I am also bit biased because it was my great-grandfathers names, but it is my favourite Jul- name for boys. I think Julius sounds better and more masculine than Julian, which is a bit feminine for me and sounds too much like mixture of Julie and Anne. My favourite female variation is Juliet.
