Re: Do these sibs fit?
in reply to a message by Siân
I don't think they fit entirely. Yuliy; Demyan and Maksim seem fairly "modern" and informal while Ekatarina is more archaic, as is Fedosia.
Is there any particular reason why you use Fedosia and not Feodosia (or Feodosya)?
Maksim is definitely the right spelling for the russian name. Maxim doesn't make any sense in Russian. Mommy to Myrtle Nola (22-10-2012) and Vance Paul Conrad (16-04-2015)

I've honestly tried both Feodosia and Fedosia. I'm not more attached to one than the other.
She is named that name because she is named after the place.I wasn't really happy with Ekaterina anyway. What would you suggest?

I was going to say something similar. Yuliy seems fresher than the rest, and fits almost a trendy vibe with Maksim. Demyan I am clueless as to it's trendy-ness. Ekaterina is perfect for a sibling to Fedosia, though. I think Vitalik might make a nice alternative to Demyan. It's a bit stronger, more traditional and has the vibrant punch that both Fedosia and Ekaterina do.I also quite like Arkady, though since Yuliy is a form of Julius, I find I am biased in favor of it. It does seem like a "youngest brother" type name in this case though.

Okay, suggest some classics?I already have characters named Dmitri, Alexander, Evgeniy, Arseniy, Nikita, Natalia, Valentyna, Ilya, & Yakov. I feel like I've used a lot of the "good" classics.I am only attached to Fedosia / Feodosia. All others are open to change.PLEASE make suggestions. Anything that isn't Boris and Ivan is cool.
