anachronistic names in TV/movies
after seeing The 4400 have a little girl called Maia born in the 1930s and seeing another TV show set in 1960 have their newborn female baby be called Britney, I was wanting to see what anachronisms in baby names in TV and film grate on people here?

Don't have any examples from TV, but from books and manga: Once I didn't borrow a book set in 18th century Sweden because a character was called Linnea - a name that simply didn't exist then, because it's derived from a flower named after Carl Linnaeus who was still alive and working in 18th century Sweden. Linnea was first used as a girls' name in the 19th century. In a manga set in Victorian England, I've found Karen, Lindy and even Drew used for girls.

Argh! I hate that!I don't watch Glee, but the names of those characters are pretty anachronistic - the names are very current. Megan in Mad Men (born in ~1940 Canada), and Skyler on Breaking Bad (born ~1970 US) bother me as well! They weren't in the top 1000 when they were born.
