Re: Faith
When I hear the name I do assume it's a reference to religion. But faith doesn't have to be "in" anything. It's just the opposite of futile and destructive worry and anxiety. You may not hold it in high regard, but you rely on it all day every day! heheI imagine a person named Faith was probably named by someone who had to endure uncertainty, and things came out OK, and they feel like their faith gets them through. Because that's nicer than imagining that the name is sort of evangelizing everyone who meets the person, lol.Even if it were more of a pagan seeming name, it's a little too much of a word for my comfort zone - to greet someone as Faith feels strained to me, at least at first. Then after a while it starts to sound namey, like Keith. But I'm not attracted to the combination of soft F and TH sounds, either. So it's not a favorite. It's just OK.
