100 Grandchildren

This morning I read this article about the Zanger family whose 100th grandchild was just born: http://www.whig.com/story/28868456/we-could-start-our-own-town-strong-sense-of-family-for-zangers-who-welcome-100th-grandchild The parents are Ruth and Leo. They have 12 children, 53 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. The newest arrival is named Jaxton Leo. The article is amazing because it actually has names and pictures of all 100! I collected the names in list form below: Children:

Man, the grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchild's names really went downhill.

Why do articles keep saying "100 grandchildren"?Maybe because it's more impressive than "100 descendants"? They have 53 grandchildren. That's like if I said I had 124 grandparents because I have 4 grandparents, 8 great-grandparents, 16 great-great-grandparents, 32 great-great-great-grandparents, and 64 great-great-great-great-grandparents.
(Mine's just less impressive because 98% of them are dead).It IS pretty impressive that the only name used twice is Isabella. And Michael/Mike but that's probably honoring. Picking a name must be so difficult in this family; cousins are probably always stealing your name ideas.

All I keep thinking is, that for a name nerd it would be very easy to never have a repeating name, however for the average person, I would be very frustrated trying to name a child in this family. Haha.Some of them I hate. Really... a lot of them. Adalyn, Jaxton... Charlette is the worst.However, I do really like August, Emmett, Dominic, Heidi, & Lydia the most.
