I don't mind it. It's a bit flighty, and I wouldn't want to be named it (and I don't think many boys would either), but I like the sound. There's something very crystalline and fragile about it. It sounds like it should be the name of a boat, or a dead kingdom or extinct culture... "the Caspians", you know. But that's probably because I've got the name all wrapped up with the Dawn Treader book in my mind.Ideas:Caspian Alexander
CAspian Alexandru
Caspian Eustace lol that's gross
Caspian Drake
Caspian Algernon
Caspian Darius
Caspian Reginald
Caspian Ivan.... I really like I's and V's but Ivan is no good...
Caspian Vincent? Caspian Victor?
Caspian Vercingetorix

Hate it.I really, really, REALLY hate this name. It's not dashing or handsome or heroic to me, it's weak. Weak, wimpy, and lame. I wish it would die.I don't have any middle name suggestions, sorry. I feel like I'm alone in really hating this name.

Hahaha! I love your ire. I've got this image of you standing next to the Caspian Sea and wishing it would die.

My sister has talked about using Caspian before. She has wanted to name her future sons Dorian and Caspian for many years. (I laugh that both are characters that have been played by Ben Barnes.) At one point, I think she had Caspian Ross in mind. Not sure if that's still what she wants, but there's that idea.Caspian Flynn is cool.Other random ideas:Caspian Luca

I absolutely love, love, love, love, love, LOVE (yes, that much love) Caspian more than any other name. It's my favourite boys' name, and I think it's so incredibly handsome and adventurous sounding, plus I love the Narnia connection, which brings a magical, whimsical feel too, and I'm a sucker for a good literary reference. Caspian Flynn is very handsome sounding, although I slightly prefer Caspian Finn, I also like: Caspian Arlo
Caspian Wolf
Caspian Silas
Caspian Lysander
Caspian Felix
Caspian Theo
Caspian Theodore
Caspian Hugo
Caspian Francis
Caspian Luka
Caspian Edgar
Caspian Darcy
Caspian Louis
Caspian BeauMy full Caspian combo is Caspian Sherlock Walter (all literary names), so maybe Caspian Walter too. I'm assuming Caspian Sherlock would be too weird/out there?
