EvrenBQ: rank them for girls, rank them for boys.

I like Arden for a boy better, but it could work on a girl too.
My thoughts:
Alden -boy
Aspen -boy
Devon -with that spelling, both. Devin for a boy
Milan -girl
Rowan -boy
Adair -boy
Bronte -girl
Blair -girl
Evren -girl

Arden: I think it's a little trendy but I like it. Girl. Alden: It's a nice refreshing alternate to Albert. Boy. Aspen: I think it sounds cool. Girl. Devon: Hate it. Boy. Milan: I don't like it. Boy. Rowan: I think it sounds peaceful. I prefer it on a boy but it still works for either. Adair: Dislike it. Boy. Bronte: Hate it. Girl. Blair: I really like it and I think its a nice alternative to Claire. Girl. Evren: Sounds very trendy. Boy.

Arden for a girl? It's not the worst name ever. It's not something I would ever use, but it has something you can't quite put your finger on. Maybe I would use it as a middle name.Alden- M. I don't care for it.
Aspen- F. Sounds like the name of a rich girl.
Devon- U. It's okay.
Milan- U. I like it more than Paris, but not Berlin. Berlin is still the ultimate place name for me.
Rowan- F. I just like it better on a girl.
Adair- F. Again, sounds like a rich girl. From the 80's.
Bronte- Neither. This name is terrible.
Blair- M. I hate it.
Evren- M. Soft and pretty, but still plenty masculine.

Masculine, imo. I can see the appeal, it sounds like 'ardent'.Alden - Masculine but I don't like it.
Aspen - Masculine but I don't like it.
Devon - Masculine but I don't like it.
Milan - Feminine but I don't like it.
Rowan - Unisex, I like it masculine.
Adair - Feminine, but don't like it for either.
Bronte - Neither? I don't like it.
Blair - Feminine but I don't like it for either.
Evren - Unisex, I like it feminine.

Arden - I'm not a fan. I would assume it was masculine, but probably wouldn't blink an eyelid if I met a female Arden alsoAlden - not a fan
Aspen - really like this for both a boy and a girl. I think I slightly prefer Aspen on a girl, but only marginally
Devon - dislike. I've only ever met Devon's who are involved in criminal behaviour
Milan - seems pretentious. I feel this about names such as London and Lourdes too
Rowan - Like, prefer on a boy. I know two male Rowan's. One is 24, the other 3. I don't know any female Rowan's and would feel a little sad if I met a female Rowan
Adair - nice, but I prefer Alasdair
Bronte - would assume female, I've met a female Bronte, she is 22/23. Not a huge fan, but it's nice and different
Blair - I think Tony Blair, see it as equally male or female. Dislike
Evren - nice name, has a nice look. Definitely male

I like Arden. I think I posted about naming a girl Arden a couple of months ago. I quite like it on girls, but see it as totally unisex. It's very woodys on a boy, and chic on a girl (Elizabeth Arden). Plus, it looks trendy but really isn't right now.
As for your others:
Alden - I know a little Alden boy, so I can really only picture a boy. (His sister is Adelaide. Parents are Alison and Andrew). Aspen- I don't really like this as a name, but I can picture it on a rich-family type girl the easiest. I think it a bit handsomer on a boy though. Devon - Very chic on a girl and quite adorable on a boy too. I never really thought about this name, but I like it. Was it in "Clueless". I feel like it's a Valley Girl type name. Milan - Boyish to me, but I do not like it at all. Rowan - Prefer on boys, but I can see it on girls. It's not my style purely because of origin, but it's a smooth and lilting name. I can see why people like it. Adair - Also boyish to me. I actually really like this. It's one of those soft yet masculine type names that I love. If I met a girl with it, I would be impressed though. Bronte - All girl. I have only read about girls named Bronte online. It's really only suited for literary parents I think. Blair- A bit pretentious and country-club on a boy, but I like it. On a girl I just think of the 80s. But, the 80s were a pretty cool time, so... Evren - LOVE!! For a boy. One of our absolute top names. We would have named a boy Evren Charles when we were pregnant with Clarisse. I can see the appeal for girls, but it is all boy to me. We still may use this someday. Who knows. Dh and I both love it, and my family was all on board. love.

Arden - pretty sound, but makes me think of make up. Still, it sounds more masculine.
Alden - don't like. Masculine.
Aspen - makes me think of skiing. And of Asperger's (I have it, so I'm not trying to say it's bad). Have only seen it for girls.
Devon - I know there's a female singer called Devon Sproule, so I think of it as feminine. Don't like it. Makes me think of the Devonian geological era. And also of Devon Rex cats, but I love them.
Milan - it's a football (soccer) team. Can't think of it as a name.
Rowan - my only association is Rowan Atkinson, so, male. Don't like it.
Adair - I've always liked this. And it's male to me.
Bronte - I love the Bronte sisters and think of this name as female. But I prefer Charlotte, Emily and Anne (and Branwell).
Blair - ick, makes me think of Tony Blair and the Blair Witch. Not good for any sex.
Evren - ugly, but nice meaning. Male.

Forest of Arden, Forest of Dean ... can't say I like Arden for either gender, which I suppose makes it unisex!I've never known a girl Devon; of the male ones I know, one is (South African) Indian.Rowan is all male to me, and I like it almost enough to use as a fn. On females, I find it ludicrous but only at long distance - I've never met one, though one encounters the occasional Rowena (which I also like).Ain't never met any of the others.

I actually really like Arden and have for some time now. It sounds so similar to one of my fave names, Eden, so that probably helps. I personally only like it for a girl. Alden, Devon, Bronte and Evren I don't like at all. Aspen, Milan, Adair and Blair are all ok, but I would prefer them for mns. Rowan is fine for a fn or a mn, but only for a boy.

I like Arden. I think it's more masculine than feminine, but it's not bad on a girl. Alden: I like it slightly more than Arden, but it's very close. Male.
Aspen: I like it, but I think it's been getting popular. Female.
Devon: It's alright. I don't dislike it. Equally male and female.
Milan: Meh. Male?
Rowan: Love it. On my list of names I'd use for IRL babies. Male/female (but I'd only use it on a girl myself)
Adair: Like it a lot. Male.
Bronte: I met a girl named Bronte once and thought it was pretty cool. Female.
Blair: Nope. Hate it. Not sure why. Male.
Evren: I'm pretty neutral on this name, but I think I like it? Primarily male, but not bad on females either.Favorites:
Rowan (F)
Alden (M)Second-favorites:
Adair (M)
Bronte (F)

Arden was Shakespeare's mother's maiden name - I quite like it, slightly more for a girl, I think.
Can't stand Blair - reminds ne of "blare" and Bronte leaves me cold.
I love Rowan for a boy especially in the combo Nathaniel Rowan or vice versa.
Rowena is my preference for a girl.
