Too much in these male name pairings?
Looking over some old combos, I've found that my taste in male names especially tends toward the dramatic or incongruously-paired. I'd love to hear thoughts on balance, boringness, over-the-top-ity, and any other opinions you might have on these bad boys. They are:Beckett Alexander
Geoffrey Rhys
Isaac Mercutio
Lawrence Isaiah
Milo Bellamy
Felix Ray -OR- Felix James
Ezra James -OR- Ezra Luke
Rowan Elijah (not particularly pleased with the flow of this one anymore, but I still love both the names)It's been a while since I've been on the boards, and I don't know what all has become cliche, so please let me know that as well. Thanks for reading!

If you're still interested in feedback on these...Geoffrey Rhys - either I'm saying them wrong or they run together at least a bit (rey/rhy).My favourite is Ezra Luke, but I actually don't want more people to use Ezra, since it's suddenly gaining popularity! When I named my son Ezra, no one else was using it, and I liked it that way! :PBeckett Alexander does feel a bit over the top, as does Isaac Mercutio (though I assume that's rather the point of Mercutio).I just tend to find James boring no matter what, but it combos well as a middle.I don't see a problem with Rowan Elijah? And I just really love both names.

Beckett Alexander - Don;t like Beckett, adore Alexander.
Geoffrey Rhys - I really love this combo. They flow really well
Isaac Mercutio - I don't think these names go well together though I quite like Isaac
Lawrence Isaiah - interesting combo that works.
Milo Bellamy - don't like it at all. Names don't work together and I dislike the names
Felix Ray/James - Both middle names work. Like the unusualness of Felix with the more sensible James
Ezra James/Luke - both combos are my favourite out of this batch of names.
Rowan Elijah - I agree with you on this, lovely names bu themselves but don't really work together

Beckett Alexander - Well balanced but kind of boring. I've seen Beckett on a lot of boys lately. Doesn't make it a bad name, but I wouldn't be excited to see it by any means.Geoffrey Rhys - I want to like this so much but the similar "ree" sounds back to back are bothering me a little bit. On paper though, very nice.Isaac Mercutio - Mercutio is nms and usually a little bit much for me, but this combo does balance nicely. I don't think it's overly dramatic with Isaac in front.Lawrence Isaiah - I don't particularly like either name, but this balances well too. I might prefer Isaiah Lawrence, but as you already have Isaac up above, that probably wouldn't work for you.Milo Bellamy - I like this a lot. This is my favorite on this list I think. I'm not usually a fan of Milo, but the L's and M's sing a nice song here.Felix Ray -OR- Felix James - I'd say Felix is the only thing "cliche" or at least trendy on your list. Unfortunately I think Felix Ray and Felix James are both really boring compared to your other combos. :(Ezra James -OR- Ezra Luke - Ezra James is better than Felix James. I'm neutral between Ezra James and Ezra Luke.Rowan Elijah - I don't dislike the flow here. May I suggest Geoffrey Rowan?

Beckett Alexander- ew, Beckett. Yay, Alexander. The flow is nice.
Geoffrey Rhys- fun! Rhys is really over-used where I am, though.
Isaac Mercutio- very awesome, and very over the top. I think it actually flows quite well.
Lawrence Isaiah- balanced and not-over-the-top-at-all. Isaiah is lovely, and I have no issue with Lawrence.
Milo Bellamy- Milo is cute, but Bellamy is very feminine to me. It flows really, really, well, though.
Felix Ray- ooh, fun.
Felix James- well, it's nice, but James is a filler.
Ezra James- probably about a million of these around.
Ezra Luke- like it, but it's a bit boring.
Rowan Elijah- I adore Rowan, especially on a girl, and quite like Elijah. I think you're right about the flow, though.

Hi - good to see you again!Beckett Alexander - feels quite mainstream to me, though Beckett would attract Becks or Becky as a nn which leads to confusion with Rebecca. Though there aren't that many Rebecca people in circulation so it might not matter. Confusion with David Beckham, perhaps?Geoffrey Rhys - lovely! Crunchily medieval Norman-Welsh. Splendidly usable.Isaac Mercutio - sounds good - good flow - and though Mercutio is OTT all right, in the mn position, who cares? Gives off happy, energetic vibes.Lawrence Isaiah - neither is to my taste, though Lawrence is a family ln. And Isaiah is only safe as a mn, considering the difference in pronunciation between UK and US. I'd prefer Lawrence Elijah, but that leaves Rowan stranded.Milo Bellamy - Milo is an instant chocolate drink where I live, so no. Could an American boy be named Hershey? (Herschel, yes of course.) This is a serious question! And the only Bellamy I've ever known was a little girl, and I'm not sure if she was Bellamy, Bellamie or Bellami. I've always thought Bellamy and Bonamy would be splendid dog names.Felix Ray -OR- Felix James - Ray seems very dated. I'd even prefer Raymond, which I can't say I like at all. Felix is not just feline, it's cat food - pity, as it's a god, cheerful name; just not usable. Funny that Felicity is usable; I once knew a Felicity who chose to be called Felix, but she was a bit strange.
