In my mind Evelyn is very firmly a feminine name, but I see no reason why you couldn't use it as a middle name. Middle names are rarely heard/seen, so there's little reason the boy could ever be teased for it. He could just write 'E' as a middle initial or leave it out entirely.As far as Darcy goes, what's the problem? I see it as entirely unisex, working just as well for boys as girls and vice versa. My husband has a cousin Darcy who's male, and I don't think he's ever had any issue with his name. I've also seen the name on girls and it's cute, imo. Like I said, entirely unisex in my mind.You could even name a son Darcy Evelyn, but in that case it really might look a bit too feminine. I feel like Evelyn should probably be paired with a far more typically masculine first name. But again, most people won't ever see/hear/know anyone's middle name anyway. So it really doesn't matter.
