What are your favorite and/or unique Italian names for both genders? I can only think of Emilia/Amelia for a feminine name, and no masculine ones.

Not sure about unique, anyway I'm Italian and these are names I'd use on my kids. For the record, I like names that are a bit on the unusual side without being weird or out there.

My current favorites are Fiammetta and Edvige for females and Ercole and Artemio for males.

Some of my favourites are are Alessandro, Lorenzo, Mattia, Giacomo for a boy, Alessandra, Amedea, Carlotta and Mattea for a girl.
