I've never read the Narnia books, so I don't see that with the name. I think of the Caspian Sea first. I think it could definitely work and I like the nn Cas.I would not go with Casper as I would think of 'the friendly ghost', although, I don't know how many kids nowadays have heard of that. Calvin is good too. If our last name didn't end in an N, it would have been on my lists.Mommy to Everett Lawrence 2011 and Piper Helen 2013 and baby girl Aug 2015.

You could use Casper as a nickname for Caspian. Then both of you get a name that you are fond of.

That is true. However, I'm actually quite happy to compromise and use Casper, both names are super awesome!

Well, if you're happy with Casper, then use that! It's a great name as well. I just didn't know if you liked Casper or not.
