Josie
Remember how my nieces got a cat and named her Rosie? Well, they changed her name to Josie. Actually, her full name is now Josephina Pink Flower Queen Kitty. My brother told him they aren't allowed to change her name again, and that she is officially Josie, LOL. :)Anyway, just to branch out the topic, what do you think of Josephina, NN Josie for a human? I prefer Josie to Rosie :D and her full name is flawless! Josie on a cat makes me think of Josie & the Pussycats ^.^Josie is my favorite nickname for Josephine or Josephina and I like it for a boy, too.

It's kind of cute. Josie is cute by itself, verging on cutesy. Josefina is at least less stuffy than Josephine.
Josie is a good name for a pussy-cat.

I like both Josephina and Josie a whole lot. Josephina is so pretty and Josie is so sweet. It makes a good name for a cat, too. :)

I think it's a nice enough name for a human

Josephina is fine, but I prefer Josephine. Josie isn't a bad nn, but I'd go with Jo if it were me.My son, Josiah, sometimes calls himself Josie, but he usually prefers Jak or Jackson (Jak is his initials).Josie is also a woman in the Netflix Daredevil (and the comics, actually) who runs a bar. She's at least in her 40s and grumpy, and since watching the show she's the first person I think of when I see the name Josie. It's not an entirely negative association, but it is hard for me to imagine a Josie who's a young girl.
