Names from Borley Rectory
In drama at school we are currently studying Borley rectory and it was mentioned that the rector (Reverend Henry Dawson Ellis Bull) had fourteen children. Interested I wanted to find their names, unfortunately I just found the name of thirteen of them. So what do you think of the names and what would you name thirteen children (Six boys and seven girls)?

Borley being THAT Borley? The haunted one?nm

Yes, we study it in drama. We are currently working on performing it like a big brother, most haunted kind of thing. Also we are working on a thing about the nun and monk who fell in love and then got punished (the monk hanged, the nun bricked up in a wall alive).

Henry 'Harry' Foyster 1863
Henry is a nice classic name, same goes for the nickname Harry.Caroline Sarah Elizabeth 1864
I like all three names, nice combo.Winifred Margaret 1865
Same as before, like both names, nice combo.Alfred Richard 1866
Not as keen on both names, still a nice combo.Basil Walter 1866
Again not too keen on both names, still a nice combo.Ethel Mary 1868
I like the name Ethel, but not as much Mary. Sweet combo though.Adelaide Mabel 1868
I love Adeliade and like Mabel, nice combo.Edward Gerald 1870
I like Edward, but not Gerald. Still a nice combo.Constance St Clere 1872
Not as keen on this name. Constance is alright and the combo is okay.Hubert Ellis 1873
Hubert is an alright namr, I prefer Ellis thought. It makes a nice combo.Emily Toundrow 1876
Emily is my own name and I find it alright. I'm guessing Toundrow is an honouring surname. Cyril Garwood 1877
Cyril is an okay name, again I'm guessing Garwood is an honouring surname.Alice Kathleen 1879
Alice and Kathleen or both okay names and make a nice combo.

I hate Harry and I'm kind of sick of Henry. It is a sweet name though (Henry, not Harry)being a Sarah Elizabeth myself and a lover of the name Caroline, I think the combo is beautiful ^.^Winifred Margaret, Ethel Mary & Adelaide Mabel are delightfully old sounding, I love them even if I don't love every name on its own.I like Basil Walter and Hubert Ellis but I wish it were Ellis Hubert instead.
I also just love Alice. :)my kids would be named

Thank you! I'm still deciding if I'll keep Franklin Jedidiah or change it to either Franklin Tobias or something I haven't thought of yet :)
